"I'm Going To Go To Bed"

Biden replies to reporters: "I'm going to go to bed" | watch

During a press conference in Vietnam, US President Joe Biden avoided the question of whether he would meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping - telling reporters: "But I tell you what, I don't know about you, but I'm going to go to bed."

US President Joe Biden tonight (Monday) held a press conference in Vietnam, where he arrived on a political visit after participating in the G20 leaders' summit in India at the weekend. During the event, Biden was repeatedly asked whether he would meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping - and he avoided answering until in the end he told the journalists "I don't know what about you, but I'm going to go to bed."

Another embarrassing incident was recorded at the end of his speech, when the organizers of the press conference shut off Biden's microphone while he was answering a question from a journalist, and said that the event was over.
