In the morning hours, a report was received at Magen David Adom (MDA) Emergency Services' 101 hotline in the Jerusalem area about a vehicle that crashed into a concrete barricade near the Beit Horon interchange.

MDA paramedics provided medical treatment and transferred 5 injured individuals, including a 2-week-old infant in moderate condition with limb injuries, and 4 individuals in light condition, to Shaare Zedek Hospital in the city.

Shalom Barhum, a volunteer from the rescue team, said: "When I arrived at the scene, I saw five family members traveling in a private car with various injuries after colliding with a concrete barricade in a self-inflicted road accident. Along with other MDA paramedics, we provided initial medical assistance, which included stopping bleeding, splinting, and bandaging. We attended to a 2-week-old infant with moderate limb injuries and four other injured individuals, two parents in their mid-30s, and two children aged two and three, all in stable condition."

Yesterday, a 21-year-old young man was seriously injured in a road accident while riding his motorcycle on Highway 574 in Zemer. He was transported to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera, suffering from a severe multi-system injury.

MDA emergency medical paramedic Moshe Cohen reported: "The motorcycle rider was lying on the side of the road, at a considerable distance from the motorcycle, conscious but suffering from multiple injuries throughout his body. We provided him with medical treatment, including bandaging and splinting, and then transported him in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital in critical condition."
