A Golani Sayeret fighter describes the incident in which five soldiers were injured in the Tulkarm refugee camp: "While returning from an operation in Tulkarm, my force received a report of a shooting incident in the sector, we immediately jumped to the point, began scanning, and meanwhile heavy fire was opened on us from a suspicious vehicle, we identified the threat and neutralized it, and we will continue to neutralize such events and protect the citizens of the State of Israel.

At the Meir Medical Center they update on the condition of the injured. Prof. Haim Faran from the medical center reported: "This morning, two injured people arrived at the Meir Medical Center with multi-system injuries from shrapnel. One is lightly injured without serious injuries who is being treated in the emergency room and another injured who arrived with very serious injuries is in critical condition.

According to the doctor: "In Meir's emergency room, initial resuscitation operations were immediately started and later in the operating room we were able to stabilize his condition, but it continues to be difficult and he will need additional surgeries in the future."
