Seven members of the Menashe community were killed by a missile falling near the synagogue during the riots that are taking place in northern India. "Every day they stay in India and don't immigrate to Israel, they are putting their lives at risk," said the community coordinator.

Immigration and Absorption Minister Ofir Sofer and Jewish Agency Chairman Doron Almog welcomed them at the airport and gave them Israeli IDs.
