Soldiers from the commando brigade were diverted from an attack mission in order to clean Nasser hospital in Khan Yunis, and were required to remove dirt left by local residents.

The IDF is now leaving Nasser Hospital, after making some 200 arrests of terror suspects and finding evidence of terror activity in the hospital.

While conducting operations in the hospital, the IDF and COGAT ensured the continued supply of food, water, and fuel for the hospital's needs.

The 98th Division launched a combined attack on Western Khan Yunis, with the aim of dismantling the military structure there. 50 terrorists have been killed so far, including a company commander responsible for terrorist attacks.
