The recruitment of fighters for the combat units of the July-August 2023 cycle started this morning, and in the coming weeks thousands of recruits are expected to visit the recruitment sites throughout the country

Minister Amichai Shikli spoke out against the proposal to enact a Basic Law for Torah Study and announced that he will not vote in favor of such a law. He also opposed comparing Torah students to military servicemen in the law.
