Israeli author and media personality Hadassa Ben Ari has publicly responded to the release of “Gal Einai,” the latest single by her ex-husband, acclaimed singer-songwriter Hanan Ben Ari. The song, unveiled Tuesday morning, has already taken social media by storm, drawing praise and heartfelt reactions.

Sharing a snippet of the track online, Hadasa wrote: “Gal Einai. We’ve been waiting for this song for so long. Sometimes I think I can hear the kids singing it in their sleep.” She tagged Hanan and added simply: “Wow. Good luck.”

The single, which Hanan calls the start of a “crazy story” he’s not yet ready to reveal, reflects a journey of personal struggle, searching for meaning, and holding onto faith in the midst of emotional and existential chaos.

In a message to his fans, Ben Ari announced: “Over the next few months, I’ll be speaking to you only through songs. A new song every month, until the full album is released on January 1, 2026, God willing.”

Describing the creation of “Gal Einai,” he recounted a night when he unexpectedly found himself in a studio with strangers, starting with a blank page at 2 a.m. and driving home at 5 a.m., shouting the song in his car.

The track ends with a moving dedication: “With admiration for all the brave soldiers, men and women, who continue fighting for us and allowing us to live here. And in prayer for the immediate release of all our brothers and sisters held hostage, including our own Zivi and Gali Berman, whom I miss so much I can no longer look their families in the eyes. With love, Hanan.”
