The U.S Has Now Full Control of the IDF and Israel
The Gaza war and Israel’s insistence on obeying Washington after the ceasefire was violated have proven that Israel has handed over its national security affairs and regional strategy to the United States, to be managed entirely at its discretion for the first time in History

As expected and as we foresaw, Hamas never had any real interest in upholding the terms of a ceasefire. Now, the United States will have to offer excuses as to why the fire isn’t coming from Hamas (which would mean Hamas stays in power, since if it isn’t responsible for the shooting, someone must restrain those who are), or alternatively, it will have to give up the prestige of having achieved a ceasefire.
The residents of Gaza are not desperate for a ceasefire—they love death. Islam sanctifies death, and especially the version of Islam under which three generations of Gazans have grown up, beginning with the first true intifada that took place in 1971 in the Gaza Strip.
As Israel’s Minister of Education Aharon Yadlin already understood in 1974, and as every child knows today, Egypt wants to keep the Palestinian problem lodged deep in Israel’s throat. Trump’s initial attempt to solve the matter through transfer failed. And now, it seems that the president will have to swallow his pride, accept Hamas as alive and well, and all of this leaves Israel effectively as a bystander in managing the conflict.
Israel’s security and national interests are no longer a real factor when it comes to Gaza. There is no way to look at the situation or the map regarding Gaza and imagine that Israel still has the ability to initiate or create its own moves.
In fact, unless this is part of some brilliant plan by Trump, where, if Hamas violates the ceasefire, the expulsion and relocation of Gaza’s residents to Arab states and Turkey (which is currently entering the arena and helping Hamas grow stronger) would be authorized, there is no visible path by which the Israeli interest is being implemented at all.
In reality, Israel has surrendered to Hamas for the sake of U.S. prestige and the hostages, while both Hamas and Netanyahu remain in power. In two years, Israel succeeded in dismantling the Shiite axis and handed the United States a Sunni Middle East ready to inherit those achievements. Apart from serving as a contractor for U.S. interests, the Jews no longer truly function as a factor of independent power.
They can be seen as regional brokers, doing what Jews have done for thousands of years: mediating between external and independent forces.
