Penn Medicine Staffer Sparks Outrage with Shocking Antisemitic TikTok | WATCH
A staff member at Pennsylvania Hospital, identified as Michael Nocella, has sparked widespread outrage after filming an antisemitic TikTok video while in uniform on hospital grounds

A staff member at Pennsylvania Hospital (part of Penn Medicine) has come under fire after filming a TikTok video on hospital premises while wearing scrubs, in which he allegedly portrayed a harmful antisemitic stereotype.
Michael Nocella is accused of performing the classic “greedy hand-rubbing” gesture over images of money, accompanied by phrases like “oy vey,” Jewish-related hashtags, and music evoking longstanding tropes about Jews being money-obsessed.
The video, which was filmed in what appears to be a hospital storage or back area during work hours, was highlighted on Monday by the watchdog group StopAntisemitism, which posted:
“Pennsylvania Hospital (Penn Medicine) employee Michael Nocella films a TikTok at work portraying a harmful stereotype of greedy, money-hungry Jews. This kind of conduct is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in healthcare, and must be addressed @PennMedicine.”
The clip quickly went viral and drew widespread condemnation, with critics arguing that such content from a healthcare worker in uniform undermines patient trust and creates a hostile environment, particularly for Jewish patients and staff.
As of Tuesday morning, Penn Medicine has not issued a public statement. Nocella’s TikTok account has been deactivated.
