A night out turned into a heart-pounding escape for a group of Israeli teens in Rhodes, ambushed by a mob of pro-Palestinian activists outside a local club. Just hours after a protest against an Israeli ship docked in Greece, this latest clash, reported by *Srugim* and *N12*, left one teen lightly injured and the rest running for their lives, pointing to the growing hostility faced by Israelis abroad.
It started with a heated exchange outside the club—shouts, curses, and songs hurled across the street. “We knew we had to get out,” one teen recounted. They slipped out the back into an alley, a move they’d soon regret. Suddenly, 20 to 25 men, described as “Arab in appearance,” gave chase. “We ran for our lives,” the teens said. One, fluent in Dutch, claimed he was from Holland and was let go. Another wasn’t so lucky—caught, beaten with kicks and punches, he was left bruised on the street before limping back to safety with a friend who’d hidden nearby. “You can’t walk the streets here,” they said. “Every scooter or ATV sound makes you jump, thinking they’re coming for you.”
