U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to withdraw an additional $3 billion in federal funding from Harvard University, accusing the Ivy League institution of failing to combat antisemitism on campus.

"I am considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land. What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!" Trump wrote Monday on his Truth Social platform.

The Trump Administration has already revoked $2.2 billion in federal funding previously allocated to Harvard, citing the university’s handling of antisemitism and alleged racial discrimination. If the new freeze is implemented, total losses for Harvard would rise to $5.2 billion.

In a separate move last week, the administration barred Harvard from enrolling foreign students, escalating tensions between the White House and the university. However, a federal court issued a temporary restraining order on Friday, halting the directive from going into effect, for now.
