Bank Jerusalem experienced notable stock fluctuations following reports that Mali Yehalomi, a veteran employee of the financial institution, has gone missing in Vienna, Austria.

Bank officials were quick to clarify that the incident is purely personal and circumstantial in nature. They emphasized unequivocally that there is no suspicion of embezzlement or any compromise to bank or customer funds.

Against the backdrop of media coverage and public speculation, Bank Jerusalem CEO Yair Kaplan sent a reassuring letter to the bank's staff. "In recent days we have witnessed media reports about the disappearance of Mali Yahalomi," Kaplan wrote. "We understand that such an event raises concerns and uncertainty."

Kaplan reiterated in his message that the banking institution is not implicated in the matter. "It should be emphasized that aside from the fact that this involves a bank employee, no connection has been found between the incident and the bank," he stated. "A gag order has been placed on the incident, and it is forbidden to transmit any information on this matter to any party whatsoever."
