From Screens to Streets: 14-Year-Old Charged in Brutal Beating of Teen at Public Park
A 14-year-old girl from Or Yehuda has been charged after a social media feud turned into a violent physical assault at a public park. The victim, 15, was beaten in front of other teens in an incident that has prompted police to request house arrest for the minor suspect.

A 14-year-old girl from Or Yehuda is facing a serious indictment following a violent assault on a 15-year-old peer at a public park. The incident was reportedly fueled by a social media feud, and shows a growing trend of digital disputes escalating into physical violence among Israeli youth.
The assault took place on the night of April 17 in a residential neighborhood under the jurisdiction of the Mesubim station. Police officers responding to reports of a brawl discovered a disturbing scene of targeted brutality.
The Assault
According to the indictment filed by the Tel Aviv District Prosecution, the 14-year-old suspect attacked the older girl in front of a group of teenagers who stood by and watched. The suspect allegedly grabbed the victim by her hair and threw her violently to the ground, and struck and kicked her across her entire body while she was pinned to the floor.
Investigators determined that the root cause was a prior verbal conflict that began on social media.
Legal Proceedings
Following an investigation involving forensic evidence and witness testimony, the youth wing of the Tel Aviv Prosecution filed charges of "assault causing actual bodily harm." In a move highlighting the severity of the case despite the suspect's age, the police have requested that she remain under full house arrest until the conclusion of legal proceedings, citing her perceived danger to the public.
Israel Police issued a statement regarding the case:
"The police view any manifestation of violence with great severity, particularly incidents involving minors. We will continue to act with determination and zero tolerance toward bullying, whether it begins on a keyboard or ends in physical injury, to ensure public safety and bring offenders to justice, regardless of their age."
