Ingredients for 3-4 servings
For the shawarma:
500 grams chicken, cut into strips
1 large onion, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon baharat or shawarma spice blend
Salt and black pepper to taste

Chopped tomatoes and cucumbers
Chopped parsley
Prepared tahini

Preparation
- Heat a large skillet with the olive oil and sauté the onion until it softens and begins to turn golden.
