Bibi, are you listening? 88% of coalition voters OPPOSE ceasefire deal
A new poll by Channel 14 shows a majority of voters oppose the emerging ceasefire deal in the north, including an overwhelming majority of voters for Netanyahu's coalition.
A new poll released today (Monday) shows a whopping 88% of coalition voters opposing the proposed ceasefire deal in the north, and a majority of 55% of voters opposing it overall.
The poll, conducted for Channel 14 by Direct Polls, shows 55% of all voters opposing a ceasefire "at this stage of the war," 41% in favor, and 4% saying they don't know.
Meanwhile, just 10% of coalition voters support such a deal, while 88% oppose it, with 2% saying they don't know.
If the ceasefire deal is simply a "temporary truce" until Donald Trump becomes President, a slim majority still opposes a ceasefire - 52% - while 42% then support the deal. The number saying they don't know then increases to 6%.
Regarding conditions for such a deal, fully 83% believe Israel needs to hold onto a "security strip" inside of Lebanon under any deal, while 10% are against the idea and 7% don't know.
