A seven-year-old chareidi boy was injured moderately on Tuesday after falling from a wooden structure in the yard of a talmud Torah in Hadera. The child had climbed onto the structure during the day when he fell from its roof and was hurt.

Ichud Hatzalah medics who were called to the scene found the boy after the fall and provided initial medical treatment. He was then evacuated by ambulance to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera, where his condition is listed as moderate.

Eliyahu Jan, an Ichud Hatzalah medic, said: "We were told that the boy fell from the roof of a structure , a wooden pavilion, that he had climbed in the yard of the educational institution. After the initial medical assistance we provided at the scene, he was evacuated to continue receiving medical treatment at Hillel Yaffe Hospital. At this stage his condition is defined as moderate."

The incident joins a series of child falls that have occurred in recent weeks. About two weeks ago, a five-year-old girl was injured moderately after being struck by an electric scooter on HaShnayim Street in Bnei Brak. About three weeks ago, a six-year-old boy was injured moderately after falling from a bunk bed in his home on Beit Yosef Street in Bnei Brak.
