Yigal Brand, CEO of the World Betar Movement, issued a call on Monday for increased protection for Jews in New York and across the United States, given the rise of antisemitic incidents.

Brand echoed similar warnings from other Betar leaders, urging Jews to avoid visiting New York City due to the surge in hate crimes.

“The situation is dire, and we urge the authorities in New York to empower the police, allowing them to act decisively against the criminals and bring them to justice,” Brand stated. He further emphasized that the World Betar Movement will continue its independent efforts to safeguard the Jewish community in New York and throughout the U.S.
