Later in the day, Milei is scheduled to meet with business leaders before concluding with a meeting with Chabad influencer Rabbi Simon Jacobson. The Argentine leader is known for his deep connection to biblical texts, as he recently explained in an interview with French media outlet LCI.
In that interview, Milei noted that he draws inspiration from the Torah, particularly from the Book of Exodus, which he described as the most important liberation story in human history. "I always make reference to the Torah, perhaps you've noticed. And I quote passages from the Torah, including the Book of Exodus," Milei said in the interview.
The president described Moses and Aaron standing before Pharaoh, presenting them as symbols of struggle against giant powers. "These are two brothers, Moses and Aaron, who stood before Pharaoh, the equivalent of the United States, Russia, or China today, and they succeeded in freeing their people," Milei recounted.
During his New York visit, a meeting is scheduled between Milei and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The meeting is planned for Thursday, following the Argentine president's UN address. According to the official schedule, at 5:00 PM a bilateral meeting between Milei and Netanyahu will take place, followed at 5:30 PM by a gathering of Latin American leaders alongside the prime minister.
