A 7-year-old boy was bitten by a snake Sunday in a community in the Shomron Regional Council and evacuated to Schneider Children's Hospital in serious, unstable condition.
Magen David Adom medics and paramedics who were called to the scene worked alongside an IDF medical team to provide emergency treatment. The child was then evacuated by intensive-care ambulance to the hospital.
MDA paramedic Rom Oscar said: "The boy was brought to us suffering from symptoms of a snakebite, and his condition was serious and unstable. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment, including administering medications, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive-care ambulance to the hospital."
