Beneath the Factory: IDF Destroys Massive Hezbollah Underground Complex

IDF engineering forces demolished a 55-meter subterranean Hezbollah command center built beneath an industrial plant in southern Lebanon. The site, which contained multiple living quarters and stockpiles of weapons, was situated just 300 meters from a UNIFIL facility

The IDF announced on Wednesday that troops from the 401st Armored Brigade, operating under the 91st Division alongside Combat Engineering Regiment 601 and the elite Yahalom unit, successfully neutralized a subterranean terror compound in the village of Haddatha.

The facility measured approximately 55 meters in length and housed three operational living quarters directly beneath a building materials factory, positioned roughly 300 meters from a UNIFIL compound.

During operations in the surrounding area, troops also uncovered an adjacent tunnel shaft containing dozens of weapons and military assets.

The IDF Spokesperson clarified that Israeli forces will continue operating in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to eliminate Hezbollah's terror threat to northern Israeli communities and ensure the safety of its citizens.
