The drinking water contamination crisis in the northern city of Carmiel continues, with municipal officials announcing that abnormal findings in the city's tap water persist and that drinking directly from faucets remains unsafe without treatment.
According to the municipality, the Health Ministry, Water Authority, Ein Carmim water corporation, and Mekorot are conducting continuous testing and taking measures to resolve the contamination, but for residents' safety, the ban on drinking tap water will remain in effect at least through the morning hours.
