Container ship chartered by Israeli ZIM company sinks in Black Sea after drone attack

The container ship Contship Jet, chartered by Israeli shipping company ZIM, sank in the Black Sea after being struck by three unmanned vessels off the Bulgarian coast. The Greek-owned vessel, sailing under Liberian flag, was traveling from Haifa to Constanța, Romania, carrying 421 containers when it was attacked approximately 20 nautical miles from Bulgaria. The strike caused a fire and severe listing. All 18 crew members were rescued safely by Bulgarian forces. ZIM stated the financial impact would be minimal. The attackers have not been identified, though Russia is suspected to be behind the attack.
