Court orders two journalists removed from West Bank until year-end following detention

An Israeli court has ordered two journalists, Andrei Kharzhanovsky and Jasper Nathaniel, removed from the West Bank until January 1, 2027, following their detention in an incident near the Carmel settlement in the southern Hebron Hills. Police reported that the two men, in their 20s and 30s, were detained after a friction incident in which two Israeli civilians were allegedly attacked. The investigation is examining claims of attempted weapon abduction and mutual assault between the parties. The court granted police requests to release the suspects under restrictive conditions, including the removal order, while the investigation continues.
