Cyberattacks disrupt supermarket refrigeration systems in Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg

Overnight cyberattacks disrupted refrigeration systems at supermarkets across Sweden, Belgium, and Luxembourg, causing extreme temperatures and significant damage to stored food. Some ICA stores in Sweden had refrigeration units remotely set to 50°C. In Belgium, units at over 40 Delhaize stores, 15 Carrefour locations, and around 5 Spar stores are heating up to 15°C. Sweden's National Cybersecurity Centre is working on several incidents involving grocery store refrigeration across the country.
