Ethiopia tells UN Security Council it must defend against Eritrean invasion
Ethiopia's foreign minister wrote to the UN Security Council stating the country "has no choice but to defend itself against an all-out invasion of its territory by the Eritrean army." The letter reports that Eritrean forces have advanced 60 kilometers into Ethiopia's northern Tigray region.
