Avinatan Or, who was kidnapped to Gaza on October 7 together with his girlfriend at the time, Noa Argamani, has addressed the breakup between them for the first time, after it became known in recent months that their relationship had ended.

"Things that fit once don't fit today"

In an interview with Ilana Dayan on Channel 12's "Uvda" program, Or was asked about his relationship with Argamani and said the two separated several months ago.

"Both of us went through a lot in these two years, each in his own way," he said. "Things that maybe fit once don't fit today, and it's okay that it ended. Each one moved on and each in his own way."

"After a period at the bottom, I feel at the top"

Despite the separation, Or said he is now in a better place in his life after the difficult period he went through: "I'm fine and life is good. After a period at the bottom, I feel at the top."

Or and Argamani were kidnapped together from the Nova music festival on the morning of October 7. Argamani was rescued from Hamas captivity in Operation Arnon in June 2024, while Or remained in captivity for an extended period. After his return to Israel, the two continued their lives and later separated.
