Yosef Haddad, who holds the number-two spot on the Amcha Yisrael list, was absent today (Monday) from a major party advertisement, just one day after he was forced to clarify past statements in which he supported the establishment of a Palestinian state.
According to a report in Yisrael Hayom, a formal advertisement distributed by the party presented its proposal for a "special commission of inquiry" into the events of October 7. The ad featured four senior figures from the party list, but Haddad was omitted and did not appear among them.
The conspicuous absence comes after the exposure of a 2021 interview Haddad gave to the Al-Arabiya network, in which he said that the final solution is a Palestinian state. Following the publication, Haddad issued a detailed clarification and claimed that he changed his worldview after Operation Guardian of the Walls and now firmly opposes a Palestinian state.
