The headquarters working to bring young Haimanot Kasao home is escalating its struggle, voicing anger and deep frustration over how the investigation has been conducted and the lack of progress in the case.
In a special statement issued by the headquarters, the family said: "In light of the lack of progress and what feels like indifference and injustice in handling the case, the family is weighing its next steps and its activity regarding the continuation of the struggle and public mobilization."
The family and campaign headquarters made clear they will not accept the standstill in the search and investigation into the circumstances of her disappearance, and intend to pursue additional channels to return the issue of her absence to the public and media agenda.
