Knesset Member Tally Gotliv launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Netanyahu's associates on Tuesday, following reports that Netanyahu held a conversation with her and Minister Ben-Gvir aimed at "reassuring" them that he would include Otzma Yehudit in the next government.
In a statement, Gotliv declared: "For the information of the Likud spokesperson - the Prime Minister's circle published a false briefing yesterday claiming the PM spoke with Minister Ben-Gvir and me and 'reassured' us that he would include Otzma Yehudit in the next government. Well, no such conversation ever took place!!"
"Netanyahu's circle is lying," she continued. "Netanyahu's circle panicked over the public's trust in Otzma Yehudit and the public's understanding that only Otzma Yehudit with 15 mandates will lead to a right-wing government, hence the false briefing. I was happy to bring this to your attention, even though in your integrity you did not repeat the lie about the 'reassurance call' that never happened between the PM and Minister Ben-Gvir and me."
"Only a strong Otzma Yehudit will keep the PM on the right and preserve the right-wing bloc. The wise and intelligent voters of Otzma Yehudit understand this," Gottlieb concluded.
