Houthis Claim Attack on Al-Makha Port, Report Casualties
The Houthis have officially claimed responsibility for an attack on Al-Makha port in Yemen, which is controlled by a Saudi-backed proxy. In a statement, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea announced the attack resulted in the destruction of weaponry and dozens of casualties, including Saudis. The Houthis are reportedly mocking Saudi Arabia despite the new defense pact Riyadh signed with Turkey and Pakistan on Friday. According to Shia sources, Saudi Arabia uses the port to transfer military equipment to its proxy forces, though it also handles civilian transport.
