IDF uncovers underground excavation in Hebron near home of terrorist from recent attack
IDF soldiers discovered an underground excavation in Hebron near the home of a terrorist involved in last weekend's attack at Judea Junction. The excavation, found during counterterrorism operations on Sunday, is approximately 15 meters deep and 75 centimeters wide. An electronic device was recovered from the shaft and transferred to security forces for examination. Initial assessment suggests the excavation has no exit. The discovery was made during searches of over 500 sites following Friday's attack in which Staff Sergeant Ron Yonatan Roytman and Sergeant Yuval Shai Svilem were killed and additional soldiers lightly injured.
