Iranian Parliament Speaker rejects U.S. VP Vance's negotiation proposal

Mohammad Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, dismissed U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance's efforts to renew negotiations. "Iran's conditions have been made clear to the mediators time and again, unequivocally. The carrot-and-stick policy has no effect on Iran," Ghalibaf stated. He said progress would only be possible after an agreement is reached on seven conditions set by Iran. The statement was reported by Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, which mocked Vance for waiting for Iran's response.
