Lebanese Attorney General issues arrest warrants for senior Hezbollah officials over explosives truck

Lebanon's Attorney General has issued arrest warrants for senior Hezbollah officials Hussein Abdallah, head of the Liaison and Coordination Committee in Hezbollah, and his assistant Ali Ayoub, following the seizure of a truck carrying 800 kg of explosives including TNT and C4. The truck, belonging to Hezbollah, was intercepted about a week and a half ago traveling from Baalbek to Dahieh in Beirut. The Lebanese President ordered expanded investigations into the incident. The explosives are suspected to have been intended for assassination operations in Lebanon. Operatives caught with the truck admitted their connection to Hezbollah. The investigation aims to uncover all other parties involved.
