Lieberman rules out joining Netanyahu government, will back Eisenkot and Lapid

Yisrael Beiteinu leader Avigdor Lieberman announced he will not join a government with Netanyahu under any circumstances, including if offered the first term in a rotation agreement. He also ruled out supporting a minority government. Lieberman stated his party will recommend Gadi Eisenkot for prime minister and support Yair Lapid's candidacy for Knesset Speaker. He emphasized that 337,413 citizens voted for Yisrael Beiteinu in the recent election, nearly 124,000 more than the previous election, and said he has met with key figures in both the opposition and coalition since the vote.
