Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed accuses Israel of committing genocide

Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic candidate for Senate from Michigan, stated that "The State of Israel has committed genocide. I don't think that's a controversial statement." He claimed that anyone who researches the subject would reach the same conclusion, and cited Israeli human rights organizations as supporting this view. El-Sayed added that the use of U.S. funds by a foreign government to commit genocide, and the inability to discuss it, is "very problematic."
