Incumbent Representative Randy Fine faces a primary challenge featuring explicitly antisemitic campaign content, as social media influencer Dan Bilzerian escalates attacks on the Jewish congressman with Nazi-themed messaging and conspiracy theories.
Bilzerian released campaign ads celebrating Adolf Hitler and depicting Jewish horns on heads, drawing swift condemnation from Republican and Democratic leaders alike. Over the weekend, Bilzerian posted a video referring to "the Jewish problem," prompting the American Jewish Committee to call it "Nazi propaganda, aimed at a Jewish American running for office."
Fine responded by reposting Bilzerian's ad in full, writing on social media: "Every second. Celebrating Hitler. Having horns grow out of the heads of Jews. Showing me violently assaulted. And if this appeals to you, I don't want your vote. We have a choice on Tuesday, to embrace the kind of Nazism that led to the Holocaust or to repudiate this filth and reaffirm American values and character."
Speaker Mike Johnson called the attack ads "disgusting" and said antisemitism has no place in politics or America. Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries described Bilzerian's campaign as "hateful and blatantly antisemitic."
Bilzerian, described as the "King of Instagram," calls himself "anti-Zionist" and told Florida Politics: "I think that Jews are causing problems." The Las Vegas-based influencer currently does not reside in the district or even in Florida, though the Constitution permits him to run as long as he becomes a state resident by election day.
Fine won his House seat in a 2025 special election with 57 percent support. Betting markets give Fine a commanding 98 percent probability of winning the Republican primary. Bilzerian loaned his campaign $1 million in the second quarter but still trails Fine in fundraising.
Fine will face off against Bilzerian in Florida's Republican primary for the 6th Congressional District today (Tuesday).
