Russian officials: No plague found in 60% of tested contacts of deceased institute worker
Russian officials reported Tuesday that 60% of identified close contacts have been tested for plague, with all results negative. The woman, who worked at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute of Siberia and the Far East, died last week from pneumonia of undetermined origin.
