Israeli Jets Over Red Sea

Shadow Alliance in the Skies: Israel Accused of Joining Saudi Arabia to Crush Houthi Assault

A senior Houthi defense source has claimed that Israeli Gulfstream intelligence aircraft, operating from Nevatim Airbase, assisted Saudi forces in tracking and repelling Yemeni missile and drone attacks over the Red Sea.

A senior source in the Houthis' Ministry of Defense told the Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese channel al-Mayadeen that Israeli warplanes took part in operations alongside Saudi forces to counter a Yemeni attack on Saudi Arabia.

According to the source, the aircraft were Gulfstream-type planes used for intelligence gathering, communications, and tracking. They allegedly operated from Nevatim Airbase in Israel and conducted missions over the Red Sea, helping to locate Houthi missile and drone launches.

The claim comes amid heightened tensions following strikes on Sana'a International Airport, which the Houthis blamed on Saudi Arabia. The group responded by firing missiles at targets in Saudi Arabia.

Neither Israel nor Saudi Arabia has commented publicly on the allegation.
