Six people were wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening in the Galilee village of Bi'ina, two of them seriously and four in moderate condition. The victims were brought to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, where a reinforced trauma team was activated to treat them.
At 8:56 p.m., Magen David Adom's 101 dispatch center in the northern region received a report of four wounded in the village. Medics and paramedics who were called to the scene provided initial treatment to four men suffering from penetrating injuries: a 56-year-old man in serious condition and three men around 30 years old in moderate condition.
The teams treated the wounded, including stopping bleeding and administering medication, before evacuating them in ambulances and intensive-care vehicles to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
MDA paramedic Stav Abramson, senior medic Anan Muhsen, and emergency medics Riyan Muhsen and Yehuda Steinberg described the scene: "This was a very difficult scene. When we arrived at the location, we were led to the wounded, who were suffering from penetrating injuries. We provided initial medical treatment, including stopping bleeding and administering medication, to one victim in serious condition and three in moderate condition, and evacuated them in MDA ambulances and intensive-care vehicles to the hospitals while their condition was stable and they were fully conscious."
