A shocking video from a car's dash camera has captured the moment a taxi driver risked his life to save a passenger as a deadly terror attack unfolded at Jerusalem's Ramot Junction. The shooting spree lasted just one minute and 27 seconds, from the moment the terrorists opened fire until they were neutralized.

The video shows dozens of people fleeing in a panic as chaos erupts. In a moment of bravery, a taxi driver is seen safely evacuating an elderly passenger from his vehicle. Bullets are seen whistling over his head and striking the windshield of the bus directly behind him, yet he remains focused on getting his passenger to safety. The dramatic footage, first reported by journalist Kobi Rosen, has been shared widely online, offering a chilling look at the violence and the extraordinary heroism on the ground.

The taxi driver described the harrowing ordeal, telling reporters, “I heard bullets whizzing by, but I couldn’t leave the passenger in the car while all of this was happening just meters from my taxi. I’m not a hero or anything, I just couldn’t leave her there.”

President Isaac Herzog spoke to the taxi driver and said, "I am moved to speak to you, dear Yigal. You are truly an example of civic heroism. I saw the video and said, "Find me Yigal!" You are a model citizen, and I want to thank you. You bring tremendous pride to the State of Israel. I wish you good health, happiness, and joy."

Yigal responded, "I don’t see this as an act of heroism. I just believe that any taxi driver in such a situation must act this way. I had a passenger, an elderly woman about 85 years old, and I had to get her out of the area."
