Colombia opens embassy in Jerusalem, Hamas condemns the move

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar inaugurated Colombia's embassy in Jerusalem, marking the tenth embassy to open in the city. Sa'ar stated that the number of embassies in Jerusalem has doubled since he took office less than two years ago. Hamas issued a statement strongly condemning Colombia's decision, calling it "a blatant violation of the rights of our Palestinian people and an explicit breach of international law and UN resolutions, which reject any change to the legal status of Jerusalem."
