UTJ Chairman condemns police violence against protesters, calls for disciplinary action
MK Yaakov Asher, Chairman of United Torah Judaism, criticized police conduct during protests, stating that while his party opposes road blockades, they cannot ignore "disturbing footage" showing protesters injured and bleeding, including a young man with special needs. "Such conduct crosses a red line and cannot be ignored," Asher said, calling on the Police Commissioner to immediately summon officers who "acted unlawfully and used severe violence" to disciplinary hearings.
