Trump Gave Israel "Blank Check" on Gaza Emigration - Winter

Netali Shem Tov of the Amcha Yisrael party, led by Ofer Winter, appeared on Galei Yisrael radio and made a striking disclosure: "When Ofer Winter was summoned by Defense Minister Israel Katz to head the emigration administration, he heard explicitly that we have a blank check from President Trump... but it still hasn't happened and they keep explaining to us that it can't happen..."

Host Sharon Gal pushed back, suggesting that perhaps life is more complicated than campaign slogans.

Shem Tov responded: "Life is certainly more complicated, but you need to tell people who have been politicians for twenty years, from the right and the left, who spend all day explaining to me why things are impossible. We can't do judicial reform, we can't carry out voluntary emigration, we can't pass a draft law because the Haredim don't want it... We can and we must."

Earlier, Winter responded to a statement by Defense Minister Israel Katz attacking him, revealing in his remarks that Katz had offered him the position of establishing an emigration administration during the Gaza war.

"Good morning, Minister Katz. There have been and are many achievements in this war. There is no decisive victory. There is no voluntary emigration," Winter stated. "You called on me to establish the emigration administration. That was the only position offered to me, and I agreed immediately. Because I truly believed and believe that there is no decisive victory without voluntary emigration. But I demanded real authority. I submitted to you a detailed plan for how to execute it. You ran away."

Winter continued his attack on Katz: "You established an administration, but you didn't carry out emigration and didn't even start. You had a blank check from the American administration and you threw it in the trash."

"Meanwhile, alongside the achievements, you're building metal detectors to supply Hamas," he added. "You're transferring hundreds of supply trucks to Hamas every day. The same Hamas that murdered, massacred and raped us on October 7th."

"Mr. Defense Minister, three years after October 7th and you still haven't given the directive to eliminate Hamas? There are living terrorists in Gaza who raped and murdered inside the State of Israel and you're boasting that the IDF is ready?" he asked in conclusion. "The time has come to break out of the conception and achieve decisive victory."
