Zelenskyy blames Russia for Black Sea attack on civilian ships in Bulgarian waters

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that two civilian vessels were struck in Bulgarian waters overnight, with one sinking and the other sustaining significant damage. Ukraine's Navy contacted Bulgarian counterparts and confirmed a combined Russian attack using naval and aerial drones, Zelenskyy said. He emphasized that Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted no operations in that part of the sea. Zelenskyy described the incident as part of Russia's attempt to make the western Black Sea unsuitable for navigation.
