After five years of campaigns and close collaboration, Israeli singer Static and Partner Communications are parting ways. The artist, who became one of the most recognizable faces of the telecom company in recent years, is ending his role as its presenter, Mako Celebs reported Sunday.
According to the report, Partner wants to refresh its advertising approach and is now expected to search for a new presenter to step into Static's role. At the same time, sources close to the singer say he too is interested in developing in new directions.
Right after the latest campaign's success
The timing is particularly notable: the split comes shortly after a major success for the two. Just last month, a new Partner commercial starring Static, built around the song "Chaviv Albi," went live. The ad reached first place in both the most-remembered and most-loved commercials rankings.
Over the years, Static appeared in a series of campaigns for the company and became a significant part of its advertising language. Now, after five years, both sides are moving on.
