Warning for the Middle East: High Alert Issued for Israelis in the Emirates and Jordan
The National Security Council has issued an urgent travel warning for several Middle Eastern countries following a surge in Iranian terror plots targeting Israelis and Jews worldwide.

While the IDF achieves significant victories on the front lines, the National Security Council (NSC) is warning that the war is being exported to the global stage. Since the start of Operation Lion's Roar, there has been a marked increase in the motivation and efforts of Iranian terror cells to strike Israeli and Jewish targets around the world. The NSC has identified a "concrete fear" that these elements are currently active, particularly in countries surrounding Iran. This has led to an immediate upgrade of travel warnings for the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Jordan. Authorities confirmed that several attempts to carry out attacks have already been disrupted or foiled in recent days, but the threat remains extremely high as the regime in Tehran grows increasingly desperate.
Specific Regional Dangers
The travel advisory is particularly focused on those in the "periphery of Iran." The NSC has instructed all Israelis currently in or planning to travel to the UAE, Bahrain, and Jordan to exercise extreme caution. One of the most significant new directives is a total avoidance of transit flights or "connections" through the United Arab Emirates until further notice. These locations are seen as prime targets for kidnapping or targeted assassinations by Iranian operatives. The warning emphasizes that the Iranian regime is looking for "easy wins" against soft targets to compensate for their massive military losses at home.
Protecting Jewish Institutions Worldwide
Beyond the Middle East, the threat extends to Jewish communities and institutions globally. The NSC is urging Jews and Israelis to keep a low profile by hiding any Jewish or Israeli symbols, such as a Kippah or Hebrew lettering, while in public spaces. Furthermore, citizens are advised to avoid locations clearly identified with Israel or Judaism, such as Chabad Houses, synagogues, and Israeli restaurants. The "motivation for terror" is described as being at its highest point in years, with Iranian state actors actively encouraging independent cells to strike wherever possible.
Digital Safety and Real Time Reporting
The NSC also issued a stern warning regarding social media usage. Travelers are being asked not to share personal information, hotel details, or travel plans in real time on social networks. Iranian intelligence agencies are known to monitor these platforms to identify and track potential targets. By practicing "digital silence," travelers can deny terrorists the information they need to plan an attack. The Israeli government remains in high gear to protect its citizens abroad, but the "alert routine" is expected to stay in place for the foreseeable future as the war in Iran continues to intensify.
