The Syrian Interior Ministry has launched an official investigation following the release of disturbing footage that appears to show security forces killing and assaulting medical staff inside a hospital in Suwayda, a city in southern Syria.
The footage, published by the local outlet Suwayda 24, reportedly comes from security cameras within Suwayda’s main hospital. The video, dated July 16, depicts several men presumed hospital workers crouched in a corridor, confronted by armed men, most clad in military uniforms, with at least one wearing an Interior Ministry outfit.
