Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced a short time ago the launch of a new 'operation' to seal the Strait of Hormuz, according to their statement.
Iran announced that it plans to deploy exceptional firepower in an attempt to shut down the new shipping route the United States established through the southern Strait of Hormuz.

According to an IRGC statement published through Iranian State media outlet Fars News, the IRGC will soon block the Strait of Hormuz’s southern route.
The route has been routinely used by commercial vessels to transfer oil outside the Middle East, under US forces’ escort.
