"Avengers: Doomsday" is shaping up as one of Marvel's most anticipated films in years, but it turns out even some of the actors appearing in it don't really know what's going to happen in the movie.
Sebastian Stan, who has played Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for about 15 years, revealed that during filming he never received a complete script. Instead, the cast shot separate scenes without understanding the bigger picture or how everything fits together.
"We didn't have a full script. We just shot scattered scenes," Stan said about working on the film. According to him, it's a different working method where things continue to change and evolve throughout production.
But behind this approach lies one of Marvel's biggest obsessions: protecting plot secrets. Stan explained that producers preferred actors not read the entire script, partly to prevent situations where journalists could extract details from them during interviews.
For him, it's already routine. After about 15 years inside the Marvel universe, Stan said he's grown accustomed to the strict confidentiality rules.
