Musician Mendel Markel has released a new song and video titled Hold The Flame, dedicated to the Kedoshim murdered in the Bondi Beach attack. The song reflects on a moment of communal gathering that turned into tragedy, and on the determination to preserve memory, unity, and quiet faith in the aftermath of loss.

Built around images of candlelight, sea air, and collective mourning, Hold The Flame frames remembrance as an act of resolve rather than despair. Markel describes the piece as a tribute to lives cut short and to the responsibility of carrying their light forward, even as grief endures.
